ADVANCE CONCEPTS FUNDS
GRANT GUIDELINES

Advance Concept:
   The meetings will take place in the Office Conference Room at 5:00 p.m.  The 2012 meeteing dates are:  Tuesdays, February 14, April 10, June 12, August 14, October 9 and December 11.

Grant requests to the Advance Concepts Committee should fall within one of the following categories.

  •  Purpose:  To provide seed money for new, Memorial Presbyterian Church-sponsored programs and projects.
  • Geographic Area:  No limit on where the funds are spent.
  • Limitations:  No grants for projects not having the support of a Memorial Presbyterian Church individual or group.
  • Purpose:  To provide funds for local community projects.  Projects do not need to be connected to or sponsored by Memorial Presbyterian Church or be faith-based.
  • Geographic Area: The local community.

The following guidelines apply to all grant requests.

  • No grants are made to individuals.
  • Projects must support Memorial Presbyterian Church's mission.
  • Multi-year grants are considered.
  • Grants are not intended to provide on-going support for established projects.

Approval Process:  Following approval by the Advance Concepts Committee, grant requests must receive Session approval prior to being awarded.
