Our Teachers
Janeen Mayday teaches our Toddler-Parent Program and Three-Year-Old Program. She is from Midland, Michigan. She has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, as well as a ZA endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Central Michigan University. Janeen has worked with preschoolers and taught an after-school program at a local childcare. After her graduation in December, Janeen has substitute taught in the Midland and Bullock Creek School districts, as well as at the ESA. When Jeanne is not teaching she likes to walk with her husband, read and scrapbook.
Annette Carbary teaches our Four-Year-Old Program. Annette has a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership, as well as a ZA Endorsement of Early Childhood Education. She continues to educate herself by regularly attending the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children Conference. Annette has taught preschool and has been a substitute preschool teacher in Midland, Coleman, Sanford as well as Seol, Korea spanning a 12 year period.
Carla Moore is the Young Five's Program. Carla Moore is from Houston, TX. She has a B.A in Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University. Carla taught preschool in Houston for three years and ran an after school care program for infants through pre-kindergarten. After having their daughter in 2008, they decided to move back to Michigan and to Midland to raise her. This last year Carla worked for Midland Public Schools working with special needs children and subbing.
