Agape Community Transformation (ACT)
Agape Community Transformation (ACT) is an organization of people centered in the Muko region of southwest Uganda and in Midland, Michigan USA dedicated to improving the spiritual, physical, economic an societal conditions of their conditions of their communities. Two areas of concentration in Uganda are our Muko HOPE program providing quality care and education for HIV/AIDS orphans as well as the Muko Empowerment Project designed to increase economic opportunities for creating and selling local handcrafts. Through these types of efforts we can come to know each other better and realize our connectedness in Christ across different parts of the world. We are proud of the ecumenical nature of ACT with members of various Christian denominations cooperating in both countries.
