Greetings,

As a friend of Bright Stars of Bethlehem (BSB), I am delighted to share with you our 2008 Annual Report.  This is BSB's first published annual report and I hope you'll find it as informative and inspiring as I do.  The report is attached and may be downloaded at http://www.brightstarsbethlehem.org/images/content/bsbannualreport2008.pdf.

In the letter from Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb and board chair Gregg Smith, they share the news that, "This year has seen many wonderful accomplishments in our work together. Foremost, BSB, through the generosity of its many donors, granted over $600,000 to support ministries that helped people in Bethlehem have lives that include quality education, engaging fellowship in loving communities, access to services and programs that promote wellness as well as provide essential health care, and affirmations of every person's human dignity. From the youngest to the oldest, BSB, through The Diyar Consortium, our partner in this calling, has helped 3,000 people live more abundant lives that clearly reflect the image of God in which we are all made."

It is the many generous and concerned donors that make the work of BSB possible.  We can only give to help the people of Bethlehem in proportion to what BSB receives.  Our gracious thanks to all of you who acted on your calling to generosity and concern for the people of Bethlehem.

Love/Shalaam
