Meet Our Pastors

Tom Schacher, Senior Pastor TomS@mempres.org (989) 835-6759 The Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Schacher has served MPC since September 2013. Tom received his calling in Marine Corp Boot Camp in 1982 and has, ever since that time, sought to help people find what he found – the loving, life-changing, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. In Tom’s ministry he believes very deeply in the building up of the church through joyful worship, spiritual learning, relational fellowship, and loving service. He believes that the church should continually be growing in its understanding of the gospel so that we can be shaped by it more greatly and share it more passionately.  Tom believes that the world needs Christians to be courageous once again in sharing Jesus Christ; that the church is called to be salt and light in a world in desperate need of it. Tom has served churches in five different states and has both his master's and doctorate from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
