Meet Our Staff

Hannah Steele Director of Congregational Life HannahS@mempres.org Hannah graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a minor in Communications. She has worked as the Director of Contemporary Worship at Bethlehem Lutheran Church for two years. She has recently held a position with Balance Concierge, working to plan events for the staff of Covenant HealthCare. Hannah grew up hoping to one day work full-time in a church, and has worked on various outreach projects hoping to serve the church and community. She is extremely excited to be working with the Memorial Presbyterian congregation and the surrounding community. She currently resides in Saginaw with her two dogs, Gus and Bear, whose hobbies include eating important items and running around in the mud, and cat named Fitz, who enjoys napping in inconvenient places.

Sheryl Billmeier Hnizda Children's Ministry SherylH@mempres.org Sheryl loves being a part of the children's lifelong journey with Jesus Christ. Katie Brinklow Growing Youth in Faith Director KatieB@mempres.org Katie is an enthusiastic person who loves Michigan’s great outdoors, her giant dog, Boone, and all things cinnamon. She studied communications and community leadership at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in May of 2016. Katie grew up in Midland and has this church family to thank for helping to shape who she is today. After being gone for over 6 years, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to her roots and serve today’s youth at MPC.

Katie is an enthusiastic person who loves Michigan’s great outdoors, her giant dog, Boone, and all things cinnamon. Katie grew up in Midland and has this church family to thank for helping to shape who she is today. After being gone for over 6 years, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to her roots and serve today’s youth at MPC.

Lisa Renas Finances lisar@mempres.org Lisa has been the Financial Administrator at Memorial Presbyterian Church since in 2007. Prior to that, Lisa worked for 13 years as a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA with an emphasis in Professional Accounting from Michigan State University. She grew up in a rural community south of Midland and has returned there to raise her two sons with her husband. When she is not at Memorial, she can usually be found cheering her sons at sporting and scouting events or preparing for the next family camping trip.

Dr. Adrienne Wiley Organist wiley1ae@cmich.edu Adrienne Wiley received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Kansas in piano performance, and her doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in piano performance and pedagogy.  She is full professor at Central Michigan University where she teaches applied piano, piano pedagogy, and class piano.  She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Michigan Music Teachers Association.  She gives workshops, masterclasses, and presentations around the country and abroad. She augments her keyboard skills with organ study, which she has studied with Dr. Steven Egler at Central Michigan University.
