Jesus did not tell his disciples that the world would recognize their intellectual achievements or their sophistication. Instead he told them "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)  Service to one another is a crucial part of the Christian life.

MPC tries to fulfill its mission to serve Midland through local ministries such as a food pantry, an emergency assistance form and cooperation with several local organizations.  We just finished a major project called "From Homelessness to Hope" where we cooperated with local agencies to build a duplex, purchase vans for shelters and provide support for a home for women exiting prison. MPC also pursues a world mission of spreading the comfort and love of Christ through short-term trips to Uganda, the selling of free-trade coffee and the collection of special donations for our brothers and sisters in Costa Rica, Church World Service and other global organizations.

You can learn about our local projects and our global missions on this website. And then please come join us in our quest to live out the Gospel of Christ through service to everyone who bears God's image.
