Welcome to Growing Youth in Faith at MPC

MPC Youth ministry is focused on developing inspired and engaged youth. Preparing youth for a faithful life filled with great hope and a vision for their future. This includes inspiring, developing, and growing a faith-based community of youth within MPC. Youth Ministry recognizes and encourages the individual talents of every youth and prepares them for life’s challenges through faith-based approaches. Our program nurtures a compassion for, and an acceptance of, one another and provides a safe community for youth to be themselves and feel accepted among peers and mentors.

SUNDAYS:

12:00 - 2:00 PM Middle School Youth Group

5:00 - 7:00 PM High School Youth Group

WEDNESDAYS:

5:00 - 5:30 PM Middle School Youth Choir

5:30 - 6:30 PM Middle School Lighthouse

6:30 - 7:00 PM MS & HS Bell Choir

7:00 - 8:00 PM High School Lighthouse

YOUTH GROUP:

Share a meal and laugh together while building real relationships with one another and with Christ through games, fellowship, outings and a lot of fun!

LIGHTHOUSE:

Time for youth to de-stress, talk about real life and learn from the Bible. Now on Wednesdays!

MUSIC MINISTRY:

High school youth sing with the adult choir, rehearsing Thursday nights and singing in worship Sunday mornings. For other choir and bells information please contact Director of Worship and Arts, Megan Farrison.

ANNUAL EVENTS

  • Fall Retreats: Middle and High School Youth Group each get bonding time over challenge courses and games amidst nature for the weekend!

  • Christmas Eve Impromptu Pageant and Worship: Join in this favorite MPC tradition with the youth leading the children through the story of Christmas!

  • Winter Retreat: A winter getaway to the slopes for all kinds of winter sports and fun!

  • Spring Break Mission Trip: High school youth are doing the Appalachian Service Project for an amazing week of service, reflection and fun! Details coming soon!

  • Cedar Point Trip: The best way to celebrate the start of summer is to scream your face off at the roller coaster capital of the world!

  • Montreat: The annual Montreat Youth Conference for High School youth in North Carolina for worship, small group, and all kinds of adventures!

  • Youth Sunday: Youth Ministry takes over both worship services to share their latest adventures and how they are growing in their faith!

  • Pool Party: End the summer on a high note with the annual pool party at the Country Club!
